- att andas med kroppen gör ont
- att känna med kroppen gör ont
- att vara i kroppen gör ont
Jag kan se hur min spegelbild förändras
Hur mina kroppsdelar förvrids
Vänds ut och in
Förstoras
Fördubblas
Bildar öar
Stora som vatten
Sjöar och hav
Det är någonting konstigt med blicken
Det är som ett konstant filter
Där min kropp är abnorm
och alla andra kroppar norm
Oavsett vikt eller klädstorlek
Ser och är min kropp Alltid
Större
I relation - med andra kroppar
Jag har slutat lita på
Min egen syn - villa
Jag har försökt att acceptera
Försöker
Acceptera
Det som är
Konstant
Men det är svårt
Jag väljer ofta
att blunda
Blunda för det uppenbara
För lögnen
Eller är det sanningen?
Jag vet inte
Men jag orkar inte lyssna mer
På rösten i mitt huvud
Den som säger
FUL
FET
FEL
ÄCKLIG
OTILLRÄCKLIG
FET
FEL
ÄCKLIG
OTILLRÄCKLIG
Avskyvärd
Är jag?
Nej
Jag tror inte det
Men ibland
Är det så det känns
För det är de Ord
som jag har intalat mig så länge
Så länge
jag kan minnas
Och kanske längre än så
Det tar tid
Att ändra
Förändra
ORDen som ska beskriva
Mig
VACKER
KROPP
BRA
FIN
TILLRÄCKLIG
MIN EGEN
Dear Marina, dear body, dear every single cell. As every part of this experience, know that you are not merely thought, description, idea, image... Or know that thought, idea, description, idea and story come to tell you not of who you or what you are, but to tell you the stories of joy, of sadness, of dispair and the stories of hope... they tell you ...of themselves. No description alone will ever be able to encompass you! For you are life and all it's expressions, as are they. It does not necessarily make it easier but perhaps give perspective when you find yourself "small".
SvaraRaderaHey you unknown,
RaderaI know you are writing this to me, of kindness. Because you are afraid of the perhaps, sadness that you can read in my text. You don't have to be afraid. The feelings that I describe, is just feelings, and they come and go. Once I used to feel that way almost every day, at any time, but I dont do that anymore.
I know that my own value is way greater than a body.
This text only represent the feelings that comes with body dysmorphia, and the struggle that can be. Even thou I know a lot of things now that I didnt do before, my brain still cant always tell... And I think only time will change that.. but that is ok. And I am ok.
So you dont need to be afraid anymore.
